28 March 2015, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur Earth Hour Celebration by CARE Committee at Intermark
Earth Hour could be just an awareness or reminder, about how we should do something to save our mother nature, or you can just switch off the lights for one hour. Yet, do you know, you can actually do more than that?
Thanks to Doubletree by Hilton, Kuala Lumpur CARE Committee for inviting us to celebrate the Earth Hour with exciting and creative activities! This is part of the Teaching Kids to CARE Initiatives, and I must say, it was a successful program! We are so honored to be a part of this initiative, besides enjoying themselves with the activities, the kids, had learned so much what is all about Earth Hour!
Below were the main activities for the kids to learn about how to make maximize he benefits in recycling our garbage:
(1) How to do the “Lantern” from used condensed milk can with hole and decorations
(2) How to do the “Patung Wayang Kulit” (Sculpture Puppet) from recycle box/ paper.
It was indeed a good educational program for the kids, directly helping them to be Creative and DO NOT simply waste away the recyclable items like paper, boxes and tin cans.
Thanks again and THUMBS up to DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur in organizing this Earth Hour!
