Deepsky Volunteers and Friends bring early CNY Cheers to 30 Sentul Families

11 February 2018, Deepsky Sdn Bhd Volunteers CNY Outreach Program to Sentul Community

Giving the low income families a memorable Chinese New Year Celebration. Thanks to Deepsky Sdn Bhd who organize a CNY Outreach for 30 Chinese families in the Sentul Community through a moment of fun time with exciting and interactive games and as well doing traditional art & crafts.

Deepsky volunteers together with their friends and families, led by Mr. Louis, besides reaching out to 30 families, Deepsky also sponsored groceries and CNY Cookies to these families. The volunteers brought along their children to help out in the program.

UTAR Community Service Society Kampar Students Reaching Out to Sentul Community

UTAR Community Service Society Kampar Volunteers at Food Distribution Program, Creative Art Program, MY Reading Program and 1 Stop IT Resource Centre

Part of the Eco-Friendly Learning Initiatives, a total of 47 students from UTAR Kampar reaching out to the Sentul Community through volunteering in the Food Distribution Program, Creative Art Program, MY Reading Program and 1 Stop IT Resource Centre, sending their love to 100 families and more than 55 children & youths!

The theme of this outreach program organized by the UTAR Community Service Society students is Eco-Friendly - Creating a better Environment for our Community. Part of the learning initiatives, was to let the UTAR students to experience reaching out to the needy community.

One of the highlights of the program was when the students bringing 50 children and youths picking up the garbage around the area of our centre. Immediately, the children and the youths learned about the awareness of how littering have created a negative impact towards our environment.

It was a very fruitful working experience with the volunteers from UTAR Community Service Society. And we hope to have you guys around to work on many other programs in the future!
