DHL Go Teach Volunteers organized the Youth Engagement Workshop for 15 youths last Saturday, teaching the youths on creating Resume, applying jobs on Jobstreet, grooming and attending job interviews.
It was indeed a fruitful day that we have spent learning together. We are so grateful to DHL volunteers Manju, Farah and Ooi for your time in teaching and guiding our youths.

Youth Empowerment: Open up Doors of Opportunities - The Clinic Apprentice Program
“Since I was young, I have been receiving free medication at the Free Clinic. Right now, I couldn’t believe that I am getting training here in the Free Clinic for job opportunities in medical-related fields in the future,” said Hamasevanni, 19, who shared her heartfelt feelings with tears when asked about being selected to join The Clinic Apprentice Program.
In 2015, the Sentul Free Clinic of HOPE is also a platform for underprivileged youths aged from 18 to 25 years old to venture into medical-related fields through empowerment, training and job creation.
The Objectives of this program are:
After graduated from the program, the youths who are interested to venture into jobs in medical related fields, they will be recommended to hospitals and clinics. And also we would seek for financial support for some of these youths who would like to further studies in this field.

Our Call for The Clinic Apprentice Program:
We call for support from
(a) Hospitals, Medical Clinics and Medical Schools to be Our Partners in providing more training, employment opportunities and Scholarships to further studies.
(b) Corporate and Individual Donors by way of monetary donation to continue sustaining the Sentul Free Clinic of HOPE’s operations.
In aid to reduce income disparities and tackle youth unemployment rates, the Clinic Apprentice Program is the first step HOPE worldwide Malaysia takes to empower our underprivileged youths. Moving forward, we aim to collaborate with more corporate companies from various fields and industries so to create more training programs and job opportunities.
