Outreach Program to Kampung Bukit Asu on 3rd April 2011~!

Guess what? HOPE worldwide Penang will be organizing a trip to Kampung Bukit Asu on the coming 3rd April 2011! Coming along with us going to be a group of volunteers including professional doctors and nurses and for sure we are going to have a memorable outreach experience there!

Kampung Bukit Asu is an isolated rural community located at north east of Perak whereby the nearest town to it is Kelian Intan and it is about 30 minutes drive distance away there. The community in Kampung Bukit Asu is a group of community who lived in mountain area. In total, there are 40 families with about 120 children. This underprivileged is very much in need of medication and food supply as well.

Our Free Mobile Clinic Van will drive in to provide medical check-up and treatment to the community. Besides, we will gather much clothing, groceries, stationeries and toys for distribution. We will plan games and activities for the children too.

This is definitely a valued outreach experience which you cannot miss! For you who are really passionate and concern about lives of the underprivileged, this trip is going to be truly memorable for you. Therefore, we greatly encourage volunteers to participate in this noble cause, contribute your love and care for this group of people, who are less fortunate than us.

Should you would like to find out more or register your name as a volunteer, please contact Ms. Joey Tan, at +6012 240 9152 for more information.

Friendly Match at Bandar Baru Sentul

06 March 2011, HOPE Football Program - Friendly Match @ Bandar Baru Sentul

On last Sunday morning 8am, our Football Program children taking part in a Friendly Match that organized by a football club.

This was the second Friendly Match they participated since HOPE Football Program were formed April 2010.

Friendly Match is a platform that enables the children to use the skills they've been trained by the coach during all this time.

Here are some pictures that taken that day. Basically it was divided into junior and senior categories.

I personally was so touched to see how these children come along in joining this Football program. I still remembered the first friendly match they took part in Kuala Kubu Bahru, they were still new, untrained, and was so furious to play. But today, I can see the joy and sparks in their eyes. They enjoyed themselves. And some of them can play so well! I wish them all the best, and who knows, they might build their dreams through football for the their future!

Should you have so much passion about developing football programs, and would like to contribute your ideas for our HOPE Football Program, please feel free to leave your comments here or email to infohope@streamyx.com!
