Thanks to Mr. Morvin Tan, (Executive Director of Berjaya Assets Berhad and COO of Berjaya Times Square) and his sister Chrystal Tan, who brought their friends along to spend their weekend to volunteer in the Food Distribution Program that impacted 100 families.

Besides volunteering in the Food Distribution Program, Mr. Morvin Tan and his friend made a total donation of RM 6,300.00 to our organization. We are so grateful for their generosity, apart from the donations, they have contributed their time and energy too.

A Day at Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

29 November 2016, Berjaya Cares Foundation CSR Program - A Day at Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

Thanks to Berjaya Cares Foundation for inviting total 30 youths and children from HOPE worldwide Malaysia to the Largest Indoor Theme Park in Malaysia - Berjaya Times Square Theme Park.

Alongside with us are Fungates Superflow Foundation and PT Foundation.

Thanks to Berjaya Cares Foundation for opening up the chapter of the school break for our youths and children. This trip meant a lot to them, as an encouragement for all their hard work and time spent in the school for the entire year of 2016!

Official Launching of Starbucks Malaysia Roots and Shoots Project

HOPE worldwide Malaysia is honored to be invited to attend the Official Launching of Starbucks Malaysia Roots and Shoots Project. Being a part of this program was indeed a great privilege, because we got to listen to Dr. Jane Goodall's life story shared by herself about how she was so curious to know about the nature and animals since she was very young and her journey in persevering the mother nature.

Dr. Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Project was founded in 1991, with its goal is to bring together youngsters to work on environmental, conservation and humanitarian issues. Now, after spanning for more than two decades, the project is still growing strong and eventually, Roots and Shoots project is here in Malaysia!

Dr. Jane Goodall has been tirelessly travelling more than 300 days in a year, just to advocate her awareness to different countries.

During the launching ceremony, the Executive Director of HOPE worldwide Malaysia presented one of the projects we have been working closely with Starbucks Malaysia, the Community Computer Centre in Kg. Lubok Jaya, which we facilitate the computer learning program for the students aged from 7 to 17 years old at the village. With this, one of the students shared with Dr. Goodall about her learning experience in the computer centre.

Together, we hoped for a better world for all of us and our generations to live in. And it starts from each and every individual, which is you and me, by making the change.

Berjaya Cares Foundation Officiate the Rent-Free Premises for HOPE worldwide Malaysia

10 September 2013, Berjaya Cares Foundation with Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan and Dato' Robin Tan officiate the Rent-Free Premises for HOPE worldwide Malaysia's operation

In December 2012, Berjaya Cares Foundation granted the Rent-Free Premises (2 levels of a 5 levels shoplot) at Sentul Raya Boulevard for HOPE worldwide Malaysia's operation including the Administration Office, Children Activity Centre, Mini Library and a Community Computer Centre (1 Stop IT Resource Centre). The Children Activity Centre, Mini Library and Community Computer Centre served the purposes in expanding the Education Programs for more than 200 underprivileged children and teenagers.

On 10 Sep, HOPE worldwide Malaysia is greatly honored and grateful for Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan and Dato' Robin Tan to come and officiate this rent-free premises. Through Berjaya Cares Foundation's generosity, HOPE worldwide Malaysia's Education Programs have been growing in accommodating the needs of students from different age groups - pre-school children, pre-teens and teenagers. Especially the Children Activity Centre have been operating during weekdays for the After School Tuition Programs on Mathematics and English, specially cater for primary 5 & 6 students.

Besides granting HOPE worldwide Malaysia the rent-free premises, Berjaya Cares Foundation also is the main sponsor for Food Distribution Program and Sentul Free Clinic of HOPE in year 2011 & 2012.

Andy Lau's appearance graces Berjaya Founder's Day

Thanks to Tan Sri Vincent Tan & Berjaya Cares Foundation for inviting HOPE worldwide Kuala Lumpur to be a part of this event. This year is the 3rd year HOPE worldwide been invited to attend this special and meaningful occasion. It's meaningful because Tan Sri honored all 74 NGOs with his generous donations up to RM 20.2 million in estimation. It was a grand celebration and the most notable guest of the day is our Super Star Mr. Andy Lau. His appearance had indeed surprised everybody and made Tan Sri's Birthday a memorable one!
