UNITEN Students as Teachers of the Day in MY Reading Program

Thanks to all fellow volunteers from UNITEN who volunteered in MY Reading Program at our Children Activity Centre last Saturday!

And we had a blast with the volunteers from UNITEN in the Reading Program. One of the Best Sessions we have thus far. The volunteers were first time ever taking part in community programs as Teachers of the Day to teach kids 9 to 12 years old in English Reading Program. I must say, all of them had done a great job in helping and making sure the kids did well in Reading & Spelling.

Here we had the children who came back from their Raya Celebrations, may of them still wearing their festive traditional costumes, and that made the atmosphere very jolly!

Awesome job guys and we hope to see you all again very soon!

03 November 2012, UNITEN Students volunteer in English Reading Program

Thanks to Kenny and the group of students from UNITEN who contributed their time and effort in organizing the English Reading Program for the children.

The students had a chance to plan a short sketch for story telling, each and everyone of them contributed ideas and participated in the presentation with the guidance from the UNITEN volunteers.
