HOPE worldwide Malaysia Blood Donation Campaign gathered people for a noble cause

29 May 2016, HOPE worldwide Malaysia Blood Donation Campaign at Global Business & Convention Centre

Last Sunday, through the Blood Donation Campaign, UM Blood Bank managed to collect total 89 packs of blood. We would like to thank our Venue Sponsor and Co-Organizer - Galaxy Group of Companies, our Sponsor Sakae Sushi Malaysia, our Partner UM Blood Bank and our group of dedicated volunteers to coordinated the crowds, making sure the event runs smoothly throughout.

The Blood Donation Campaign was held at Global Business & Convention Centre, more than 110 people attended the event. We also want to thanks Ryan Low Weight Management who provided free health care service and consultation to our Blood Donors.
 




Last but not least, we wanna thank to all Blood Donors for your support and contribution. We shall see you all again next year~!

Youths Celebrate Final ICT Class with KnowledgeCom Trainers

21 May 2016, KnowledgeCom Final ICT Class at 1 Stop IT Resource Centre

We have to the final weekend of the ICT Training Class by the awesome trainers from KnowledgeCom. We were sad to bid a farewell to both our Trainers - Dylan & Ravin, but at the same time, the youths were so excited of what they had learned throughout these four weeks, so we decided to have a little celebration! Each youth prepared a gift to thank the trainers, and as they presented the gifts, they got to express their gratitude in words. It was a heartwarming session, and KnowledgeCom will conduct a graduation ceremony for these youths too. Look forward to seeing Dylan & Ravin again.

The Youths as Teachers of the Day in MY Reading Program

16 May 2016, Youths Volunteers Outreach Day at Sentul Centre of HOPE worldwide

As we are celebrating Teacher's Day, we would like to lift up this group of youths, as young as 13 years old, they volunteered their time as Teachers of the Day at our centre, teaching 30 children in MY Reading Program.

Guided by their parents and mentors, the youths reaching out to 30 children who are from the low income families. Beside volunteering in the MY Reading Program, the youths also contributed their time to rearrange the books in our Mini Library.

The Youths had indeed done a great job reaching out to the children in the MY Reading Program through spending quality time learning together. As young as them, they have started to learn the goodness in volunteerism - blessed is to give than to receive.




We also like to thanks the mentors of the youths, who coordinate and arrange this outreach day!

Cisco CSR Day brings warmth and love to School of Peace

09 May 2016, Cisco CSR Day at School of Peace, Penang

Cisco CSR Day gathered more than 30 staff from all over the world to bring warmth, love and kindness to the refugee students in School of Peace in Penang.

The volunteers spent an afternoon conducting Reading Program, spring cleaning and as well doing some refurbishment for the school. Although the volunteers and refugee students might have language barriers during the Reading Program, but Love broke the barrier, as we can see the students and the volunteers have had fruitful time learning together.

Besides serving in the School of Peace, Cisco staff also contributed in buying food and stationery for the kids. End of the session, we had the volunteers to distribute the goodies to all of the students.





Thanks Cisco for your generosity and it was a great outreach experience to the refugee students!

In conjunction with Euro Cup 2016, 7-Eleven Malaysia launched its Buncit Bear Loyalty Campaign which consists of 10 Buncit Bears up for redemption! All these exclusive collection of Buncit Bears represent 10 football teams - Sweden, France, Portugal, England, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Poland and a mystery team yet to be revealed. With a minimum purchase of RM 5.00 in any of 7-Eleven store nationwide, you will get one sticker. Collect all 24 stickers to redeem the Buncit Bear during the campaign period from 10 May till 04 July 2016! That's not all, once you have redeemed your Buncit Bear, post a photo of your Buncit Bear on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #FootballforHOPEww, #BuncitBear, and #7ElevenMY. RM 1.00 will be donated to the Football for HOPE Program for every hashtag shared.

7-Eleven Malaysia launched its Buncit Bear Loyalty Campaign with the fellow media and customers at Global Business & Convention Centre last Thursday. Global Business & Convention Centre was the Official Venue Sponsor for this event.

To make the occasion memorable, the beneficial charity organization of this Loyalty Campaign - HOPE worldwide Malaysia and its 12 youths from the Football for HOPE Program were invited to attend the launching. The event kick started with the opening speeches from CEO of 7-Eleven Malaysia, Mr. Gary Brown and the Country Director of HOPE worldwide Malaysia, Mr. Darick Wong. Eventually, the 12 youths from the Football from HOPE Program were invited to the hall right after the launching video was played. Following the 12 youths, was our main highlight of the occasion, the Buncit Bear Mascot, who was wearing the jersey of France Football Team, who is also the hosting country for Euro Cup 2016.



The CEO of 7-Eleven Malaysia, Mr. Gary Brown presented a Buncit Bear Golden Trophy to Football for HOPE program. Holding up the Trophy together with Mr. Brown were the Captain of the Football Team, Sayed Ahmad Nurtaufek (middle) and the Country Director of HOPE worldwide Malaysia, Mr. Darick Wong.

Thanks to 7-Eleven Malaysia for your CSR Collaboration and putting faith in all these youths and children, and giving them dignity, for them to continue to walk a step further toward their dream as Professional Footballers through the Football for HOPE Program. Our gratitude also goes to Global Business & Convention Centre for being the Venue Sponsor for the Buncit Bear Campaign Media Launching.
