Yayasan WWRC bridges love to Orang Asli Community in Kg. Jerum Lesung

Love builds bridges where there are none. And love binds the staff from WWRC Malaysia together for a good cause in a bright shining Saturday afternoon. A total of 25 staff volunteer in reaching out to the Orang Asli community in Kg. Jerum Lesung by bringing food aid, medical health check and the sumptuous KFC Meals to them.





Thanks to Yayasan WWRC for your generous sponsorship and this is the first CSR Collaboration which it marked a truly memorable time together. Besides bringing the food aid, the staff also planned games and activities to engage with the children.


As part of the KFC Sharing Moments initiatives, the staff and community shared happy moments together by sharing the KFC Meals, which it lightened up the day of the families and the children.

Kudos to all our health check team led by our volunteer doctor - Dr. Peter Gan and his team of volunteers. Providing basic health check which it included blood pressure and sugar level check, and BMI test, giving advice and consultation to the community to cultivate healthy lifestyle habits.


Our gratitude also goes to the community who welcomed us with their handmade crowns.


A big thank to Yayasan WWRC and WWRC Malaysia for the amazing CSR collaboration and we look forward for more working opportunities in the future!

B Braun Reaching Out to Orang Asli Community in Kampung Desa Ria

30 July 2019, Orang Asli Outreach Program cum KFC Sharing Moments at Kg. Desa Ria

Thanks to B. Braun for engaging their staff to volunteer in the Orang Asli Outreach Program at Kg. Desa Ria last Sunday! Total of 25 staff spent their day reaching out to the Orang Asli Community, distributing groceries and KFC Meals through the KFC Sharing Moments Initiatives, at the same time, participated in the Health Education Program, which including giving deworm medicines to the children, hair washing and distributing the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly to the families.

We want to thank B. Braun for the continuous support and trust in our works through the Mobile Free Clinic which they donated a total of RM 170,000.00 last year to support the operation of the Free Mobile Clinic Program. This year, B Braun took the CSR collaboration to a higher level by engaging their staff to reach out to the grassroots.



Part of the outreach programs - B Braun Volunteers washing the children's hair. It wasn't an easy task as the volunteers spent their time to clean the hair lies thoroughly before finally using the shampoo to clean their hair.



Children activity was certainly the highlight of the program. The volunteers got to team up with the children to play tug of war together.




Thank you B Braun for the memorable time you spent with us! We look forward to more fulfilling outreach experiences in our partnership for the coming years!

Grand Hyatt KL RiseHY Intiatives - Engaging staff for Wholesome & Sustainble CSR activties

13 June 2019, Grand Hyatt RiseHY Initiatives - Home Visit, Food Distribution Program and Career Talk 

Thanks to Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur for the continuous support for our families through the RiseHY Initiatives.

Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur engaged their management team and staff to spend a fruitful day, visiting our families and conducting Career Talk to the youths and families in our centre, aspiring the youths aged 16 to 24 years old to launch a career with them in the hospitality industry.







By the end of the session, the families were treated with a feast specially prepared by the Chef from Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. And each family also receive loads of groceries, school items and basic necessities.



On behalf of the families, we just want to express their heartfelt gratitude toward Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, your thoughtfulness in reaching out to them, giving their children aspiration and job opportunity have just lifted up their spirit, to rise above whatever situations they are having right now and continue to fight for their future! Thanks to the awesome team from Grand Hyatt, and we look forward to the next program!

KFC Sharing Moments at Jerum Lesung (2019 Q1)

16 March 2019, KFC Sharing Moments at Kg. Jerum Lesung, Jelebu

Last Saturday, our volunteers shared wonderful moments with the Orang Asli Community in Jerum Lesung, Jelebu. Our volunteers brought KFC Meals and groceries to 30 families. Besides, bringing food aid, our volunteers also organized hygiene education activities - hand washing and teeth brushing. The children and volunteers have had a wonderful time together!

We would like to extend our gratitude for volunteers from Mercy Malaysia and Dr Peter Gan who tag along with us, reaching out to the children and families.

Once again, bravo job to our coordinators Bruce & June for the great works being done!












Thank you Add Hope Malaysia and KFC Malaysia who made this Sharing Moment a sustainable program for the rural community across our nation!

Bahrain APG School Students brought new year joy to 36 low-income families

19 January 2019, Bahrain APG School Students Home Visit to Sentul Community

With great anticipation, every year since 2016, the Bahrain APG Students with their CAS (Creativity, Action & Service) Initiatives, the students will come to Centre of HOPE worldwide KL to spend a day to do volunteer works. This year we brought the student to visit 36 of our beneficial families of the Food Distribution Program, bringing groceries and as well New Year joy to these families.








Besides Malaysia, the students travelled to different countries, reaching out to different NGOs to do volunteer works. Thumbs up to these students and we wish to see you all again next year!

Special thanks to World Express Tours Malaysia for the arrangements and coordination in providing transport to ferry the students and as well during the Home Visit Program.

Togetherness Makes a Difference by Datacom and Boston Scientific Malaysia through Food Distribution Program

17 November 2018, Food Distribution Program with Datacom and Boston Scientific Malaysia at Sentul Free Clinic of HOPE

Togetherness makes a Difference as volunteers from two companies - Datacom and Boston Scientific Malaysia combine their hands to serve 100 low-families through the Food Distribution Program last Saturday.




A total of 22 volunteers spent their weekend to volunteer in the Food Distribution Program which is a grocery provision program established since 2006, its objective is to provide grocery and basic necessities on a monthly basis, to the selected low-families, whose household income lower than RM 1,000.00, in hope to ease the financial burden of these families.




Thanks to these faithful volunteers, who were not the first time serving in our organization, especially for Datacom Malaysia, who is our faithful CSR partner who the past 5 years.

Thank you, Datacom and Boston Scientific Malaysia, for your trust and support to keep up the sustainable partnership! We definitely look forward for more collaborations in the coming future.
