On 24 August 2013, a significant charity collaboration - GSC & HOPE worldwide Malaysia Charity Movie Screening - The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones was happening in more than 10 GSC Cinemas all over Malaysia which including the East Malaysia. In total we had raised RM 131,321.00.
To celebrate the success of this Charity Collaboration, and at the same time, to acknowledge and appreciate the donors and sponsors who supported this event, we had a Press Conference at the magnificent GSC Signature, The Gardens Mall. Our honor to have the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd, Ms. Koh Mei Lee, Mr. Tung Yow Kong, the General Manager of GSC Movies Sdn Bhd and Mr. Kelvin Chee, the Senior Manager of Cinemas Operation to grace the event. Our gratitude also goes to the numerous generous and supportive Corporate Sponsors who had contributed towards this Charity Movie Screening.
Once again, HOPE worldwide Malaysia would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd & GSC Movies Sdn Bhd who initiated this collaboration by selecting HOPE worldwide Malaysia as a working partner and beneficial Charity Organizations. The donations had indeed helped us to sustain many community programs such as the Sentul Free Clinic of HOPE, Food Distribution Program and several Education Programs.
