12 May 2018, MY Reading Program with volunteers from Sunway University and UCSI
Bravo job to all campus students from Sunway University and UCSI for spending their weekend as Teachers of the Day in the MY Reading Program. Mentoring 30 children from the low income families in English through the methods of Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking.
Some of these campus students are the first time ever, being a Teacher to teach a child to read. But this didn't stop them to sign up as volunteers. We always believe that, passion and a heart to serve are the keys to be a volunteer in the Reading Program, regardless if you are an experienced Educator or not. Check out the photos below then you will know why.
It's a joy to see some of the volunteers are coming back for the second and third time to serve in the MY Reading Program! And it was really a great encouragement to work with the volunteers from UCSI (U-Schos).
We hope to see you guys in the near future =)

Campus Students as Teachers of the Day to inspire underprivileged children to learn English
25 February 2017, MY Reading Program with volunteers from U-Schos and Methodist College KL
"Your life and mine should be valued not by what we take...but by what we give." - Edgar Allen, Easter Seals Founder
Last Saturday, a group of 24 Campus Students came and volunteer in MY Reading Program as Teachers of the Day to help the children from our beneficial families to learn English through phonetics education.
Thanks to the volunteers from U-Schos (USCI) and Methodist College Kuala Lumpur for your precious time spent with the children which had made an impact to their lives. And we look forward to have you guys coming to our centre again!
