01/10/2011 - Maybank CR Day cum Food Distribution for the poor at Sentul Free Clinic of HOPE
We would like to thank the volunteers from Maybank, for your generosity to the underprivileged community!
This year is indeed the second year, this group of generous volunteers from Maybank, organize this CR Day, as a day to reach out to those in need and less fortunate. Last Saturday, they brought a lot of groceries to distribute to the underprivileged community in Sentul. A total of 50 families had benefited from this Food Distribution.
While the parents were queuing up for the groceries, their children were having their Reading Program at the Creative Art Classroom which is just right next to the Free Clinic. The volunteers also take this opportunity to say "Hi" to the children right after the Food Distribution. The children were so excited to meet them that sang some nursery rhymes as welcome songs for the volunteers from Maybank. Both the children and volunteers have had a great time knowing each other. We really hope that one day, they can as well participate in our MY Reading Program, and have more time spend with the children.
