Finally, the long-awaited Father's Day Charity Event took place at Songket Restaurant! A total 21 couples turned up to have an awesome Father's Day Date for both Father & Son/ Daughter!
The event kick started with a Welcome Speech by Country Director of Persatuan Kebajikan HOPE worldwide Kuala Lumpur, followed by mock cheque presentation by Inovar Floor with a donation amounting to RM 8,000.00 for development of community programs in HOPE worldwide Malaysia. DoubleTree by Hilton was the Official Hotel Sponsors of the event. Thanks to TV3 Children Program "Voice Out" crew were there to video shoot the entire event. The Star and NST also were the presence media which make the event remarkable.
Subsequently, Mr. Steven and Dr. Agnes Tan appeared to address the crowd and there begins a fruitful session which believed to be very memorable to each pair of Father and Son/ Daughter who came. The Five Love Languages had indeed given the key to open the door of communication for both individual. Besides, Steven and Agnes also prepare a lot of games and activities which helped both individuals to bond together practically.
The workshop ended with one heartwarming session - Writing Cards. Each individual got the chance to express their gratitude and love for one another through words and coloring. Right after that, Steven and Agnes actually invited a few couples to read what they wrote in the card. Some couples hug one another with tears of joy after reading the cards.
By the end of the event, sumptuous lunch was served by Songket Restaurant! Before everyone left, each couple had a special souvenir to bring home - Photo Frame with their photo inside, which the photo been taken by our photographer during the event itself, a memory for them to bring home, to remember this awesome Father's Day Date!
