Levi's Makes a Difference during their Retail Conference this year at Hilton Kuala Lumpur by dedicating their Global CSR Initiatives "Community Day" to warm the hearts of the underprivileged community in Sentul.
The Community Day was held during the final day of the Retail Conference, where retailers from all around the world assembled for a fun and excited activity - "Grab & Wrap". Before this, Levi's had purchased the groceries and during the "Grab & Wrap" activity, everybody grab the groceries according to the wrapping list, and wrap the required groceries into a beautiful hamper, which is going to be distributed to the beneficial family. Not only that, every hamper comes with thoughtful cards written by Levi's retailers.
And by the end of the conference, we have 10 representatives from Levi's who went with us to distribute the groceries hampers to the beneficial families at their homes. The families who received the hampers were so grateful and they kept thanking the volunteers from Levi's. Beside distributing the hamper, we also packed dinner for them, and the children of each family received MPH Bookstore Cash Vouchers worth RM 20.00
Thanks to Levi's for the thoughtful CSR initiatives, and in conjunction with the Community Day, Levi Strauss Co donated RM 12,000.00 for implementation of HOPE worldwide Malaysia's community programs that focused on Health & Medical, Food & Nutrition and Education & Empowerment.
