30 June 2012, Hand Cleanliness & Health Talk by IMU Students at Sentul Clinic of HOPE

Thanks to the IMU Students who had been here conducting the Hand Cleanliness Workshop with the children last Saturday.

It was an interesting workshop which also benefiting the adult like me! The workshop had indeed created self awareness among the children about the importance of keeping their hands clean all the time, because the germs and bacteria are just so scary! The IMU students brought a Magnifying Glass which can see some of tiny germs on our hands which cannot be seen by eyes in usual days. Let's check out the pictures below:

The children get to dirty up their hands by placing their hands inside this pack of sand

After that, they uses tissues to wipe off their hands, which they "thought" their hands were quite clean now

There, the IMU students used the Magnifying Glasses to show the unseen germs and bacteria on their hands

Thanks to IUMC for organizing this trip with the underprivileged children of Sentul!

Early in the morning, a group of 40 children was departing from Sentul Clinic of HOPE by bus to KL Tower. This was their very first time arriving the KL Tower, which they always see from a distance and never get to go there. So, it was amazing for them, when they were really there. The joy and excitement of the children is just so contagious! I was overjoyed too. Let's check out the beautiful pictures!
